Just a quick note to let you know we saw Dr. Will today. He heard some crackling in Paul's lungs, so he ordered a chest x-ray. They just called and Paul does not have pneumonia. There's still evidence of the fractured ribs from his bicycle accident at the end of July. He's supposed to continue taking the Levaquin and we go back for a recheck next Friday.

Paul also has thrush again. Dr. Will prescribed Nystatin in a liquid form, which Paul has to swish around in his mouth and then swallow. He doesn't like it as well as the tablets he had last time, but he thought he could tolerate it. If it becomes a problem, I'll ask the Hospice nurse to order it in tablets instead.
